We were excited to be a part of the 1st Annual Wild Hearts Fun Run for Kerrington's Heart, a local organization that raises awareness for Congenital Heart Defects (CHD) and supports CHD families!
The photos aren't in perfect order because they are from the cameras of 2 or 3 people and I am not going to worry about organizing them. You get the idea, though.
The week of the race, Rex got a good report from his cardiologist and he doesn't have to go back until December! Woohoo!
In an Alison Hunt sandwich--a great place to be!
What a nice-looking group! I think we were the largest team with 60 (including all the kids)!
My Transy Chi Omega sisters! There were many more who couldn't come, but showed their support by donating and/or ordering a team shirt!
The best playgroup in the world! Love these ladies and kids!

Aunt Alison and Uncle Ken supporting their littlest nephew!
I bought this for Lyla to wear, but she refused
Tailgating before the 5K!
I asked all team members to sign a shirt for Rex to keep
Ready to roll!
Finishing the race!
(See what I mean...there's a picture of us a little further down before the race)
Uncle Ken and DDaddy
AJ and Uncle Ken
So thankful for my family who traveled many miles (From Florida, Georgia, & New York) to support us!
Before the race!
Granny, Papa, and their #1 son
A rare photo of me actually "running"
Lyla ran most of it and was worn out
She saw me and tried to get me carry her
Suzanne picked her up
Finishing strong!
A lot of love for this little guy!
Team Rex at the finish line!
We were the TOP fundraising team with a total of $2540!
We achieved that number through donations, a 31 party, an Arbonne party, and also through t-shirt sales! I sold 131 shirts and 2 onesies and shipped them to 4 different states!
Thanks SO much to everyone who supported Team Rex!
The Martin Family!
The Shorts and Kujaks--Erin & Dave traveled from Wisconsin to support Rex
Two families from church--Grant & Nick both placed in their age group!
DDaddy placed in his age group, too!
72 and still running!
Mimi & DDaddy love their youngest grandson!
It was a wonderful day with family and friends that raised money and awareness for CHD!
Can't wait to do it again next year, but am glad I have a year to recover!
