Ken and I celebrated his recent 40th birthday (September 11th) at the Garth Brooks/Trisha Yearwood concert!
It was an awesome concert!
Such a fun night with my favorite brother!
Lyla loved getting to help with the gifts at Aunt AJ's shower

The summer of '98, I lived with Sandy, her husband, Gee, and their daughter, Hannah.
It was a life-changing summer for me and I am so grateful for her hospitality and influence.
We are so excited for Baby Girl Hunt to arrive next month!
We left Jacksonville that evening and headed to Tucker for the night. It was a long trip and one that through Rex completely off schedule. DDaddy stayed up half the night with Rex who was wide awake after sleeping the car. The next morning, the kids and I drove home to Kentucky. About 200 miles from home, I got a flat tire. After I had a small emotional breakdown, a very nice tow truck driver arrived and changed the tire for me. I was thankful for the dvd player, the gps with a HELP feature that gave me the local law enforcement's phone number who gave me the tow truck service number, and for sunny weather while we waited.
As you can see, we had a GREAT fall break!! I'm ready to stay home for a while, though. ;)
